The test is prepared for 935 grams of silver.
Composition:
- 935 grams of pure silver.
- 65 grams of Ligury A6.
Technical details:
Melting: 855°C - 890°C.
Density: 10.5 g/cm.
Hardness: As a casting: 65 HV, after a 70% reduction of 140 HV.
Intended use:
Ideal for jewellery castings, especially vacuum and centrifugal castings, and for continuous casting of materials such as sheet metal, pipes, silver sample wires 925/;935/;950/;.
Temperature of the casting: 970°C - 1040°C.
Cell temperature: 580°C - 640°C.
Heat treatment:
Hardening: the process is carried out at 80ºC, then in hot water for about 20-25 minutes.
Annealing: 600ºC-/30 min, then tempering in hot water.
Curing: 400ºC for 60 min, then slow air cooling.
Soldering: We suggest 4017W (685ºC), 4016M (710ºC), 4018H (740ºC) soldering alloy.
Flux: Fluoron.
Etching: Sulphuric acid aqueous solution (200-400 g/l water at temperature, 80°C).
Treatment:
The material can be rolled up to a maximum of 80%, then it must be annealed, roll slowly and gradually to achieve the desired effect the process must be repeated.
