Protective leather apron (recommended for welders). It is made of cowhide covered (veneer) leather in black colour with a high quality chrome finish, which gives the leather very good strength and functional properties.

 

It is made of three elements of leather (two basic elements and a yoke) sewn together with very thick triple twist thread No. 10 and additionally riveted by means of steel rivets covered from the top side of the apron. Maintained by a wide suspender with adjustment holes at the neck and fastened at the back by means of a belt with adjustment holes. Braces and belt fastened with metal buckles, a form of fastening enables adjustment of the apron's active length and belt circumference. The adjustment system allows for optimal adjustment of the apron to the height and figure of the user. Connections of the suspenders to the main part of the apron and metal fasteners are made with the use of metal rivets. Rivets, connections and suspenders to the apron and the buckle to fasten the suspenders to the apron are additionally covered with sewn-on leather elements.

 

The apron is designed to protect the front and sides of the torso and partly the legs during the welding process carried out in a standing and sitting position. It protects against sparks, small splashes of molten metal, short-term flame effects, contact heat and U.V. radiation from the arc. The apron also protects against mechanical injuries, the effects of which are limited to the skin surface.
